Using MyLogMate
MyLogMate is a private journal for your work and studies that answers questions from your own notes. By creating an account or using it, you agree to these terms and to how we handle data as described in our Privacy page.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us through the feedback form if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run MyLogMate for you: saving it, searching it, and answering your questions. We don't use it to train AI models.
Your notes about teammates are for your own memory. Write them fairly and lawfully, and don't record information about others that you aren't allowed to keep.
Fair use
Don't use MyLogMate for anything illegal, try to access other people's data, interfere with the service or its security, or overload it with automated requests. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
AI answers
Answers are generated by an AI model from your entries. They can be incomplete or wrong, so check the cited sources before relying on them. They aren't professional advice.
The service
MyLogMate is free, with limits such as a number of questions per day. We may change, add or remove features and limits, and we don't guarantee the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. If we ever stop running MyLogMate, we'll give notice so you can export your data first.
Liability
MyLogMate is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by relying on AI answers.
Changes to these terms
When the terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app.
